Materials and techniques
Can you give an overview of the plastics you machine?
We process almost all types of plastics that exist. From high perfomance plastics to engineering plastics, no plastic is a problem for us. Find out all about certain plastics we most often machine and its properties here.
What machining techniques do you use?
We use various machining techniques such as turning, milling (3-axis, 5-axis and portal milling) and a combination of turning and milling. We also have many different finishing techniques to ensure that the product meets all of the customer's requirements.
What type of plastic is best for our application?
This must be determined on an application-by-application basis. Each application requires different unique properties of the plastic product. In all cases, we are happy to work with you to find the right plastic grade for your product.

Do you also offer assembly services of plastic parts?
Yes, within BKB Precision we offer various custom assembly services. In this way, we ensure that we make the almost impossible possible in plastic machining.
Production and delivery times
Can you produce this product?
Within BKB Precision we like to think along with the manufacturability of the customer's product. We gladly accept a challenge and together with the client we do our best to realize every product. It is not for nothing that our motto is to make the impossible possible in plastic processing.
What is the maximum size of the plastic parts you can machine?
For turning Ø350mm. For 3-axis milling of sheets 4,000 x 2,000 for the 5-axis roughly 900 x 900 x 900mm. Check out our machine list for the exact dimensions of our machines or contact us here for more information.
What is the delivery time for a plastic product?
This always depends on several factors such as material delivery time, which resource is used, are post-treatments necessary or not. Therefore a general delivery time cannot be given just like that. Ask one of our sales people here. They can inform you directly about the current delivery times of your desired product.
Do you also offer rush deliveries?
Normally we do not offer rush deliveries. That does not mean that for existing customers we do look at the possibility and offer to deliver parts within the agreed LT if we have to. Always by mutual agreement.
Customization and design
How precisely can you produce plastic products?
Depending on the tolerances a customer gives us, we produce the plastic products for the customer. These tolerances and dimensions are then accurately measured by our quality department before the remaining products are realized. Within BKB Precision, we can produce plastic products to an accuracy of 3μm.
Can you help us design and draw the plastic product we need?
Of course, we have specialists within BKB Precision who can assist the client in designing and drawing the plastic product that meets all their needs and requirements. For more information, please contact us here.
Can you make prototypes?
Within BKB Precision we understand that sometimes a customer has the desire or need to receive a prototype first, before ordering a series of products. In this case, we like to think along with our customer and in many cases we can develop a prototype first.

What are the tolerances you can achieve in your machining operations?
Within BKB Precision, we achieve tight tolerances that meet customer needs. Down to 3μm accuracy, we can produce plastic products.
How do you ensure proper quality controls?

What industries are your plastic products typically used for?
The vast majority of the plastic products we produce are used in the high-tech and semicon industries. On the other hand, we are familiar in almost all industries and sectors and know the wants and needs of every industry.
Logistics
What transport options for delivery do you offer?
In consultation with the customer, we choose the right transport option for the products. We have various transport options available within BKB Precision and are happy to coordinate these with the customer's requirements.
How do you package the products?
The products are carefully packed and shipped in a way that ensures that nothing can go wrong with the products en route. If the customer gives certain packaging instructions, we follow these correctly at all times!
Costs and quotation
What are the costs of your services?
Costs consist of a number of different sectors, including set-up time, machine time and material costs. Based on these three sectors, a tailor-made price can be calculated for a particular plastic product.
How can I request a quote?
A quote can be requested very easily via e-mail or by contacting us.
What are your payment terms?
For new customers, we ask for payment before delivery of the plastic products. Our standard payment term is 30 days net.
Sustainability
What are the advantages of choosing plastic over other materials?
Plastic is lightweight, durable and resistant to corrosion, which ensures longer life and lower maintenance costs. It is also versatile and can be easily manufactured in different shapes and colors, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
How sustainable is your organization?

How sustainable are plastic products?
Plastic is durable in the sense that it has a long lifespan and is resistant to wear and weathering, reducing the need to replace products. However, sustainability is limited by the environmental impact of production and waste management, as it is often difficult to biodegrade and recycle.
